A Community of Support

SLI empowers a peer group of motivated future leaders who are often the first in their families to attend college — and who are believed in by the community of SLI donors.

🎓

Mentorship & Programming

Through unique collaborations between educators, students, and community members, SLI offers supportive opportunities to develop as leaders, rise to academic challenges, explore majors and careers, apply to colleges, and more.

💵

Direct Financial Support

With private support from donors, SLI offers college scholarships, technology grants, and tuition assistance for Dual Enrollment and Advanced Placement classes.

When I thought, “I can’t make it to college,” there was always the “Yes, you can” coming from Sofia, Alejandra, and Dr. Kaufman.
