SLI supports college access for its scholars in three ways:
Direct Financial Support
With private support from donors, SLI offers college scholarships, technology grants, and tuition assistance for Dual Enrollment and Advanced Placement classes.
Mentorship & Programming
Through unique collaborations between educators, students, and community members, SLI offers supportive opportunities to develop as leaders, rise to academic challenges, explore majors and careers, apply to colleges, and more.
Community of Support
SLI empowers a peer group of motivated future leaders who are often the first in their families to attend college — and who the SLI community believes in.
MISSION: Scholars Latino Initiative (SLI) supports Latino/a/x high school students with college access through rigorous academic challenge, leadership development, scholarships, and supportive mentorships.
